MAGYRUS Desktop analog Synthesizer
Magyrus is an innovative and fun synth gather with 8 steps sequencer, cv + clock divider, sawtooth waveform, and filter. Also includes our traditional tap sequencer x 2 which you can control percussion flavors sections and noise + square wave.
Sismo conceptualizes Magyrus as a semi-modular with 3 audio outputs and cv in, external clock in, and 4 clock divider out. The machine features two distinct sides that complement each other during the performance. One side lets you play with the elliptic 8 steps sequencer and a clock divider (1/2/4/8). On the other side, you can adjust filter cut-off, frequencies and switch on the record, and clear tap's sequencer with an input clock to play polyrhythms.

Weird little unit my only wish is that it had cv pitch out for it would be amazing to control other gear with the sequencer It’s mostly a standalone device with the only compatibility being sync options

This is a very cool idea! With the exploration of the instrument and trial and error being half the fun of most synths and noise makers is in the creative process trying different settings, fine tuning the instruments dials, it all gives you options. And you learn as you go while having a blast! That seems to be at least partially the goal of Sismo synths. They are all about creativity, sending the gear out quickly, and being sure to return messages regarding questions related to the instrument in question. This synth is my latest, therefore it’ll be explored immediately! After that I’ll post a more detailed review of the functions. But the quality of this baby is high. I’ll definitely support the growth of this company!!!

The Magyrus is pretty great. Smaller than I expected and light as a feather, but it sounds really good and seems to be well-constructed. All of the CV/gate and clock ins and outs make it very versatile. I’m having lots of fun with it. The quality of the packaging could have been better. The box was not in great shape when it arrived, and not very much was wrapped around the synth inside. It had a long way to travel and probably would have benefitted from sturdier packaging. That said, I’d buy from Sismo again. Inexpensive, versatile and fun!
